A Little About Me
I am an FDN-P (Certified Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner) who graduated from Functional Diagnostic Nutrition® school and would love to share my experience.
I returned to school because traditional medicine couldn't help me with my hormone imbalance. I tried everything to fix it and felt like I kept getting worse.
Using the principles I learned at FDN®, I've put my Hashimotos in remission, and I feel great!
I'm passionate about helping busy women like me stop the cycle of trial and error, balance their hormones, and start feeling good again.

Why I Became a Health Coach
MY STORY
Ever since I was a teenager, I dealt with heavy periods and horrible cramps and pain.
By the time I hit my late 20s, I would be in so much pain that I'd medicate as much as possible. I was also exhausted during this time, and my sleep was terrible; my body was constantly in pain, and I could barely drag myself through my workday.
In my 30s, I discovered I had endometriosis—every month of terrible pain for 15 years. Then In my 45s, I had Hysterotomy.
In my 50s, I lost my mom (colon cancer-she was 69 years old), a lot of emotional stress, and an operation-activated autoimmune disease (Hashimoto's disease).
..My journey to becoming a health coach started when I was diagnosed with a chronic autoimmune disease(Hashimoto's) in my early 50s.
My immune system was mistaking the healthy cells of my thyroid for foreign invaders and destroying my thyroid cells a little bit at a time. I was constantly chronically tired, my hands and feet were always cold, I couldn't get enough sleep, brain fog, and I had difficulty losing weight despite eating healthfully.
My doctor, unfortunately, didn't help me. At the time, I felt lost and overwhelmed, unsure of how to manage my symptoms and maintain my health. Over the years, I tried everything from medications to strict diets, but nothing seemed to work.
It wasn't until I discovered holistic health and wellness practices that I began to see real improvements in my health. I started experimenting with different approaches, like yoga, meditation, and a whole-food diet, and slowly but surely, I began to feel better.
Through my journey, I realized the importance of a holistic approach to health and wellness. It's not just about managing symptoms but about caring for yourself on all levels – mind, body, and spirit.
